Senior Corps Programs are sponsored by local public agencies or private nonprofit organizations and funded through federal grants administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Sponsors provide local support through donations or in-kind services. Sponsors are community agencies and organizations dedicated to addressing problems in areas of need; such as Disaster Preparedness and Relief, Education and Literacy, Health and Nutrition, Public Safety, Respite, Abuse and Neglect and many other areas.
